Lake Grimselsee & Totensee

According to legend, the lake got its name after a battle during the Napoleonic wars, when the bodies of soldiers were thrown into the water. Today, however, it’s a peaceful, hauntingly beautiful spot where mist often hangs over the surface in the early morning, creating a surreal and moody ambiance.
